BlogRush, What’s All The Fuss?
You’ve undoubtedly heard about the new blog traffic tool BlogRush over the past few weeks.
Basically it’s a network intended to help promote your blog by posting a widget on your blog with other member’s related posts. Your blog posts show up on other blogs in the network every time you display the widget. So basically, it’s how much traffic you get that will determine how often your blog posts are shown through the network.
It’s too early to tell how effective it will be, but from checking with other members the feedback has been mostly positive with a ‘wait and see’ attitude. My guess is that blogs that get decent traffic will benefit most from this network, although it looks like just about any blog with traffic will benefit. I can’t see many high traffic blogs using BlogRush, although many well known internet marketers are using it, or at least trying it out.
The jury is still out and we’ll see some tangible results soon. I’ve added it to our blog here and will report on any results as they become available.
