Traffic.
It’s what every web site, and especially every blog needs. But how do you get more traffic?
There are many different ways including leveraging content, using comments, focusing on keywords, tagging, rss feeds, niche blogging, email list and more, and I suggest working on a few at a time to build up a steady stream of traffic and then move on to other strategies. By working on a few at a time you can measure their effectiveness, make changes if necessary and then continue to build.
And traffic is only one factor to a successful blog. Monetization, pillar articles, design, marketing, branding, sourcing content, publicity, newsletters, rss feeds all play a part in a blog that’s successful, both your visitors and you will enjoy and only takes you a few hours a day to maintain.
Well known blogger Yaro Starak has a mentoring program where he teaches how to work part-time to make a full-time living from your blog.
