Are You Struggling? Ask These Questions
If you’re struggling with getting your online business to a full time income… or even just to get some extra cash flow, here are a few questions to ask yourself.
1- Where is your focus?
Being focused is the number one challenge, not only for IM’ers, but for anyone trying to reach a goal. In our fast paced and multi-tasking society, it’s hard to get used to focusing on just one thing… and most importantly sticking to it.
So many things distract us… but to really succeed, we need to focus on the strategies we’ve decided on and stick with them.

2- What are your passions?
If you are focused, but working regularly on topics and methods that don’t interest you or don’t get you excited, you’ll most likely give it up as soon as you run into a challenge (and you will). Being passionate about what you do every day is a big factor to your success.
3- What is your model?
How do you monetize your business? Are you selling a product, promoting others products or earning from advertising? Which model suits your personality best? Try them out and see which works best for you.
4- What is your strategy?
How do you plan to implement your business model? Both in general terms and specific steps as well. Get a handle on what’s first, next, and each step in the process.
Ask yourself these questions and decide what direction you want to take. Be honest with yourself and see what path suits you and your interests, personality and time schedule best.
Focus is most important since it’s easy to be distracted by ‘shiny new things’ in your email every day. Success doesn’t come from ‘a little here and a little there’, it’s essential to give time to your main business and work it until it works… or shift to a new one.
Commit to setting aside time daily for your business and take action, one step at a time. If what your working on right now isn’t bringing you closer to your goals, stop and get focused on activities that do.
