How I Got Tons of Free Traffic and Added 1,087 New Subscribers in 4 Hours

December 7th, 2009

OK, I was planning on writing a short report on this but time has run out. Forgive me :)

How to get more traffic.

It’s one of the most asked questions I receive.

And ‘How to get more opt-in subscribers’.

It’s also on the top of the list.

And it’s not surprising… without one or the other, you won’t do too much business online.

To answer these questions, I’ve been playing around with a few strategies. These strategies have been around for a while and I wanted to see if they produce.

Well, after a few months I was pleasantly surprised at the results.

What did I do?

Write articles.

Simple? Yes, but it can also be very time consuming and a waste of time without a little twist.

So I tried the “lazy man’s” approach and just wrote a few articles. In fact, to make it even easier, I took some blog posts I had made and quickly turned them into articles.

Here’s what I did.

I took one afternoon and wrote (or converted from blog posts) 8 articles. Maybe 2 or 3 hours total time.

I posted these articles on my blog and then proceeded to look for article directories to submit them. Submitting manually was tedious and proved to be the longest part of the process until I stumbled upon this software.

I had tried different software over the years, but with most often with poor results. They were either difficult to use, only submitted to a small number of directories or cost an arm and a leg.. with costly updates.

But this software was different.

It was intuitive, easy to enter my articles and select the directories I wanted to submit to. It also allowed me to rotate different article titles, article text and the resource box as well. Another cool thing is that it showed what the signup process was for each one and lets me signup quickly right from within the software saving my contact information. The process was easy and only took a few minutes.

Oh, and the bottom line was that the software not only was priced less than any other I have found, it also has free lifetime support and free lifetime upgrades. So if an article directory changes it’s submission process or there are new directories, those upgrades will be included
at no cost. Along with the smooth submission process, this made it a complete no brainer decision.

My results.

OK, now at this point I had only about a total of 3-4 hours invested in this strategy.

At first there was very little activity. Then after the first week, traffic and subscribers trickled in. Since then, it’s been growing gradually for the past few months and just this week it jumped up a notch with dozens of opt-ins every day.

And note, this is with only 8 articles and 1 submission over a few month period. I did NOTHING ELSE but watch the traffic and subscribers come in. Now today, I have 1,087 subscribers from just one afternoon of work.

What is that worth?

New subscribers that you can market to FOR LIFE. Offer new products or services, provide valuable information to and earn from for as long as you want.

At this point I plan to grow my project exponentially by adding a handful of articles every few weeks. And with this software it makes the process a pleasure.

BTW, if you’re submitting PLR articles, DO NOT submit them as is. This can set you up for potential banning from search engines and no profit… and it just doesn’t make sense. Yes, this can be time consuming, but I’m testing a new resource that makes your PLR articles unique in minutes. I’ll report with more details on that soon.

Work Smarter, Not Harder with Project Quick Cash

November 30th, 2007

Believe me, I’m not a slacker and I don’t shun hard work. (I’ve done my share of sleepless nights cranking out projects!)

It just comes down to this. If you can earn more money working less, working smarter, why spend hours, days, weeks or months slaving away for much less?

I’ve just had the pleasure of going through Project Quick Cash, a project that has taken quite a few affiliate marketers by surprise (including myself). Maybe you’ve heard about the almost 2,000 visitors Jonathan Leger got to a brand new site in less than 3 weeks using these techniques. Or the $13,150 Alok Jain earned for 2 hours of work, or the $585.50 he earned in one day for 20 minutes of work.

This all came from 5 techniques that even most seasoned marketers hadn’t heard about and I almost guarantee you haven’t heard of most of them presented this way either (especially the Breaking and Entering technique on page 80, Super Targeting on page 48 and Cashing the Spike #2 on page 24). They often take less than an hour to implement, don’t require any technical or HTML skills, and all are no or low cost to implement. And better yet, they generate affiliate commissions fast, often in minutes.

Check out this video for more:

Not everyone will be able to attain 5 figure returns from some of these techniques since we all have different abilities, although they can return a significant amount of extra income if implemented.

Overall, it’s a real pleasure to see something come out that’s different that what you see everywhere else, is well written, and most importantly really works.

You Can Get Excited About This Type of Business: Google Payload

November 14th, 2007

It’s not that often that I get -really- excited about a new product in the internet marketing field. I’m passionate about all of it, but once in a while something comes along that stands out.

You see, there isn’t much online that doesn’t take some time to get results. There are even fewer opportunities where you don’t have to sell anything. Fewer where you don’t have to exclusively write or acquire content. Fewer that don’t rely on search engine optimization (SEO). And even fewer that are not dependent on affiliate marketing or product selling.

To get a better idea of what I’m talking about here, check out this video that was available before the product launch, but is no longer on the website. You can see it here:

Traffic Broker Video

Basically, what this involves is buying and selling traffic, and pocketing the difference. Some call it brokering, others arbitrage. After going through the guide, I call it profitable. You’re giving people what they are looking for and getting paid well for it.

I’ve already gone through the 91 page guide several times since picking it up on launch day and put some test accounts in place. The nice thing about the way Alex, the author, has designed it is that you can start with just $5 a day and start doubling your profits every day.

Plus, you can see the results in hours, not weeks or months.

I can’t say this for many online endeavors, but this is really exciting. There are untouched niches to explore and lots of profit available. You can test small and grow as quickly as you like. And as Alex does, you don’t need to spend more than a few hours getting it set up. Once it’s running it’s basically on autopilot. Just tweak it when needed. This is exactly what working from home profitably is meant to be. Set something up once and let it continue earning passive income while you enjoy your life.

Alex had reached $600 a day in profit before writing this guide and will continue to grow his projects and report on the progress with you. He also includes templates along with a guide to PPC as well if you’re new to buying traffic.

Regardless of your interest level, check this out.  It’s a learning experience just reading about it and you’ll walk away with ideas you can apply to your business and perhaps a new perspective. And as with many new products, the price often goes up soon after launch so you may save by checking it out now:

Google Payload

Alex had written a guide on Google arbitrage earlier this year and one of his customers contacted him to share his experience (and let Alex know the critical things he was missing). This fellow from South America was churning out $10,000 a day and wanted
Alex to write how he did it. I’m glad he did.  Perhaps you will too.

Affiliate Rescue Review, How To Make Money on A Budget

November 2nd, 2007

There are hundreds if not thousands of ebooks on how to be successful in affiliate marketing. Most go over the normal affiliate advice everyone offers.

I was pleased (and surprised) after going through George Katsoudas’s and David Bullock’s Affiliate Rescue recently… it’s different, edgy and even controversial.

You won’t find the standard advice that everyone writes about, and that’s what I liked about the book. His strategies are edgy, pull no punches and some I’d say controversial, but bottom line is that they work. Affiliate programs, networks, traffic, redirect code, guru marketing, top 10 SEO, sneaky strategies, how to increase your affiliate commission rates, where to get content for auto responders, stealth marketing… it’s all covered in the quick but thorough 67 page guide. Many of the strategies I’ve never heard about in public.

The strategies are all free or low-cost and you can get them running in hours. In fact, it’s subtitled ‘How To Make Money on A Budget‘ and you can apply these tips to most any online marketing including your own products, resell right products, PLR products… just about anything. The ideas are also designed to get you quick cash flow, not 6 months from now.

And check out the testimonials (there are a bunch of them) – they confirmed my feelings after going through the book myself.

George writes confidently showing what works. You can use these tips to grow an affiliate business quickly, or add them to your existing online marketing efforts.

There are strategies for newbies as well as seasoned marketers alike. I picked up many tips and put them to work immediately. Well worth the small investment.

If you’re like me, you appreciate honest, confident and straightforward advice that works. Check out Affiliate Rescue, I highly recommend it.
