Tim, thanks for your comment. Of course, if used or abused pop ups are annoying. BUT, if used properly, like when exiting a free report to ask if they wanted to get updates, I think it's an excellent way to use this. Fact is, pop-ups work, no matter if we both think they're annoying. It's the ABUSE of them that makes them annoying, not the fact they work. I've been using them for over 10 years and in split testing there is no comparison, hands down pop ups work and gather triple or more the response. Thanks for your input and all the best! Mark

Great. Now we have another way to annoy people. AFTER they've downloaded an e-book...hmmm. It's just my opinion of course, but if I got a pop-up as I'm reading an e-book I would be pissed. The fact is almost ALL people hate pop-ups except perhaps those who think that if they were to use one it might help their online marketing.

It may be clever to engage a pop-up in a PDF file, but the pop-up concept is very 1999 and has been proven to be extremely unpopular.

In my mind it's a non-starter...although if you manage to prove me wrong, I'll be glad to see any actual user feedback on this product. Because hey, you never know...
